Go to 'FREE STUFF' page for technical support L1 = Level 1, a beginner, needs and can get help as needed to build the project L2 = can solder & identify parts, has needed tools & get help if needed. L3 = experienced builder, doesn't need much help, can follow directions. L4 = Adv, can follow drawings or schmatics, rarely needs help. L5 = Expert, can build circuits on a project board & modify to fit needs or space!
Soldering: For Kit building I recommand the Weller 25w SP23L Soldering Iron ($15) with a round tip. In class we use .032" Dia. Rosin Core solder (avoid lead free solder). 60/90 watt Irons are for heavy duty use, like house wiring.

'Sleep-Mode' Nightlight: Light slowly changes from full on to off like it's breathing. Circuit more powerful than, but was inspired by, the Apple Computer 'Sleep Mode' light! Now available as a PCB (printed ckt board) Kit. Regular light color is White unless you put Red, Blue or Green in the 'Add to Cart' box. Comes like the 'Breather #2' prototype but you can design your own display case. Circuit will power several LED's, 9v battery not included. KLC Orig 'Sleep-Mode Nightlight' a good Father-Son project! I was intrigued by the IMac Pro Breathing/pulsating sleep-mode light so I decided to design a lamp like it. This is it! Easy to assemble PCB kit comes with 4" dome but you can put it in many different forms. E-mail help available if needed. The circuit and 9v battery are in the base.
