Camp Registration: Registration: Call 972-744-7850 Heights Pk after Jun 15 and give them the                   session name and catalog # from the weekly descriptions below If Low enrollment: We need 6, sign-up so others will do the same. Call your friends.                   If a session is canceled (very rare) you can transfer or get a refund. If a session is full: ask to be put on the waiting list. When possible we add                  places and sometimes people cancel. E-mail me on Sunday to check New projects & materials: Each year we add new projects to go with the                   old favorites. Have an old 'not working project' - bring it to fix! Live far away: Get some friends together & carpool or spend a week in                   Dallas with a friend and bring that friend to camp! Qualifications to be a Helper:

* You must be trained by me, have electronics skills, patience & people skills.
I prefer older (12+) helpers. Part of your pay is my training you to be a leader,
come to learn, not for the money! If you are not qualified, ask about being
a part time volunteer to gain experience.

* First priority - Experienced helper from past camps or someone 18 or older
            with a car that can go for emergency parts (or food).
* Next priority - students from the advanced or Pre-Engr. class or that were
            helpers last year.
* Volunteers age 11+ work to gain experience and be trained, Volunteers that
           work hard will be compensated (paid)!
* Note: Helpers are not allowed to build projects, if you wish to attend a session
           just let me know in advance so I can replace you for that session,
            it will not cost you your job!
* Needed: Up to 4 helpers each week duties include set-up, helping as needed
           and clean-up. Hours 8:00 - 5:30. Arrangements can be made for certian
           times to come in late/leave early

          you can work? Pay is based on your age, knowledge, skills and

Boys & girls of all ages say this is one of the best sessions all summer. Turn thousands of new electrical and mechanical parts into exciting creative designs. Learn the skills, concepts and techniques required to build fun imaginative take home projects. Soldering skills (Basic and Advanced) will be taught to anyone needing it. Click E-Art-1 & E-Art-2 or see the display cabinet at Hts Pk for examples of E-Art.

Become a soldering expert! This really helps if taking other sessions, especially 'Fun with Electronics' and 'Creative Projects' or my classes this Fall. One week of camp equals several months of school class time - a chance to get a head start on other students.

Option: Older campers (12+) that want to use special Plastics and Metal 'Bending tools' or Power tools (Band Saw, Drill Press and Belt Sanders) can do so if parents sign a release form. This session allows us enough free time to teach these skills and safety rules.

Learn unique techniques & skills that will help you build successful projects. If new to electronics
We will teach Basic electronics & soldering skills to any who need it , however, I suggest taking the 'Creative Art' session to learn basic skills! New projects are being developed for returning campers.

There are over 50 projects including old favorites for beginner to expert skill levels. New kits are developed each year to continually challenge your abilities.. Experienced kit builders may purchase
extra kits or bring your own. You keep all the things you make!

Younger or New WarBot builders should attend this session! Come to build, modify or battle Warbots. Up to 12 Warbots can battle at a time . If you don't have a Warbot go to order Warbot kits Now - the best one's sell out fast and (when these sellout there are No More!). If you have an older KLC WarBot bring it to repair, upgrade or modify and battle, or maybe trade it in on a new WarBot!

We will build and launch all kinds of things that fly, float or glide through the air such as Acrobatic and Distance Pwr Gliders (record=140 yds), Zingers, H2O balloon Slingers, Radio Controlled Airplanes, Helicopters & HoverCrafts, gliders, UFO's & other incredible projects are planned. You build and keep most of the projects. The R/C planes and Helicopters will be sold Friday morning. See the 2-liter Water Rocket that goes over 700 ft high! In the Aug 9th 'Things that Move' session - we'll build a rocket car!

Design & build fantastic art projects that blink, buzz or interact with the viewer! Learn creative concepts, tricks & advanced techniques. Create Art by soldering new electrical parts and materials into creative fun take-home projects. Soldering skills will be taught to those who need it. A Fun week for anyone that loves to Play games, both indoor or outside. Indoor activities include Video & computer Games, Challenges, Contest & Special Projects, outdoor games subject to the weather. Play games on Big-Screen LCD & Plazma TV's plus 23-32" monitors. OPTIONS: If parts are available we may be able to fix broken equipment! You may bring your Laptop, NSX, Game Boys, favorite games, software and other game players. Will give Materials Fee rebates up to $30 if you bring Nintendo, X-Box or Play Station players, controllers or games to share with others. Bring broken or unwanted equipment, hardware or software, to sell, swap or trade. Can Barter or trade equipment anytime but deals must be approved by instructor and parents before becoming final.

Games List will be updated as new games or equipment is added.

We'll have R/C vehicles, Cars, Planes, Helicopters, Hovercraft, Big 4x4 outdoor Hummer BumperBots, Submarines, Rockets & build a 24" long rocket Car. We will assemble, build, modify and/or launch all kinds of things that Fly, Float, Roll or Glide through the air, on the ground and maybe in the pool. Just bought new R/C Cars, airplanes, Whirly things, Boomerangs, X-zyLo;s and other things - will have a lot of new stuff! You also build projects that you keep! Items from this session & the 'Things that Fly' session will be sold below cost on Thurs. You may bring special things you own but tell Jim when you come and put your name on all items! Many special new projects have been planned.

This will probably be my last year at Richardson Heights Park Center!

Camp Mon-Thurs due to my Fall school schedule! No Materials Fee unless you work on a Warbot. This is more a play & battle week than a build from scratch week. Since school starts this week it will be a small group, probably less than 10. If you have a Warbot then bring it to repair, upgrade or battle! Age 7 can come if: you have, buy or rent a working WarBot. E-mail Jim for options to rent or buy a warbot. There will be Warbot Wars, Obstacle courses & special challenges each day.

NIKKO R/C: cars have changeable crystals so up to 12 can battle at a time.
These are the last of these cars, buy the best you can afford! With the normal
49 & 27mhz cars half the warbots can't fight the other half and only two
can battle at a time! BORING! The assembled Bots and Prototypes are the best ever.
We use PayPal: for tax records & to save time at check-in. Use it to order, at
the end you can pay with your credit card & accept/reject a paypal account.
Kit Delivery: Kits are only for camp WarBots, not sold to the public. Kits will
be delivered to you at camp!
Materials Fee: Is shown as a PayPal 'Shipping Charge' for record keeping & to
save time. This fee includes designing, pre-cutting and packaging the kits.
Cancellations: Must be made at least one week in advance to get a refund. You
would lose the Materials and Kit charges unless you take another WarBot session.
